Sacred Ofrenda: A Queer Grief Circle

Details
Come and feel release as we share our grief together in Queer Community
Grieving collectively is an indigenous way of honoring each other's grief, strengthening community, and acknowledging grief itself.
We hold a lot of grief in Queer communities from injustices from systems, loss of time spent not being our authentic selves, important relationships changing, and so much more. We may all experience a death of some kind, but it's imperative that Queer folx have spaces to share and connect without fear of being judged for our identities.
This circle is a soft altar where we remember that grief is not something to fix, but something to feel, witness, and hold in community.
In this tender container, my hope is that your story is seen, your sorrow held, and your spirit gently lifted.
Through heart-sharing, sound, and movement, we’ll make space for our grief and share our pain, prayers and presence.
All queer/trans/2S folks welcome. Come as you are.
The location is wheelchair accessible. There is free parking behind the building.
