WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
This is entirely new and revolutionary type of event for singles! We love the idea of traditional speed dating but sometimes it's hard to come up with things to talk about. That's why at a Dating Games Online Speed Dating Game Night you'll have fun, easy games to play to get to know everyone instead of dealing with the usual dating "job interview" type questions. We find that it's a much better way to get to know someone! You'll be put in Zoom breakout rooms with a small group of singles and you'll play games that will help you get to know each other. Some rounds you may be with small groups of 4 to 7 people and some rounds you may be 1 on 1 with someone of the opposite gender much like traditional speed dating. Essentially, you'll work with the other people as a team and compare answers with the other teams. Each round we change up the teams to make sure you get to meet and get to know everyone in attendance (we explain the games in more detail below).

HOW THE MATCHING WORKS:
Similar to traditional speed dating, at the end of the event the host will explain how you can keep in contact with anyone that you are interested in seeing again. We allow people to match as "friends" so you can meet wingmen and/or wingwomen at this event and we also allow people to match with people as potential love interests whom they'd like to see again for future dates.

WHAT KIND OF GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?
The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility, make quality connections and to have a really fun night. An example game we like to play is "Dating Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your group will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we might play is called Blank Slate. In Blank Slate the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw! Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch a movie ever again or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. You're then brought back from the breakout room into the main room to hear how everyone else answered the question. It's so much fun!

Thousands of people have met at our events and we've witnessed countless relationships and friendships formed. For many years we organized in person traditional speed dating events. While waiting for everyone to show up, the host would do some icebreaker style games to "Kill time" until everyone arrived. HOW DO I JOIN THE EVENT?
After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a Zoom link with an invitation to join the event. We'll email you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder in case it ended up there by accident.
WHAT DO I NEED TO ATTEND?
All you need is your computer or your smart phone or tablet (Computer or tablet is recommended over a phone)

A Singles Trivia Night is a much better way to meet someone because you actually get to interact with people on video (Zoom) before committing to a real life date. This is the safest and best way to meet someone!

HOW THE EVENT WORKS:
Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be put on a team with other singles from your area. We will have about 3 different cities on at the same time but we make sure to put you on a team with people from your city. You will work with your team to answer fun trivia questions and compete with singles from the other 2 cities in attendance.

In each round you'll go into breakout rooms where you'll get to meet, chat with and come up with your trivia question answers with the other singles in attendance (you're never put on the spot having to come up with an answer on your own... you'll always be able to consult with the group before answering so it's very low pressure, laid back and fun).
At the end of the event you'll be given contact info of the people you'd like to stay in touch with (as platonic friends to hang out with or as potential dating partners).

Our friendly host will be with you live on Zoom orchestrating the most fun trivia event you've ever been to!

STAY IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE YOU MEET!
At the end of the event all of the attendees are invited to put their email address in the chat box to the event host. The event host will then send an email to all attendees containing everyone's email address so you can contact whomever you'd like. If you're not comfortable putting your "every day" email address you can use an alternative email address or you can make another email address to use for the event. Yahoo, Outlook and Gmail allow you create several free email addresses and setting one up takes about 3 minutes. Then after the event you can feel free to email any people you'd like to see again. If people email you it's up to you if you'd like to reply to them.

You're never put on the spot to come up with answers... you'll be working with your team to answer the questions. You'll answer great trivia questions in all of your favorite categories like pop culture, history, entertainment (music, movies & TV), arts & literature, science and more. * We have several unique rounds of trivia which keeps it really fun and exciting. Some rounds are like traditional trivia nights (simply answering trivia questions), other rounds are totally unique and change at each event. Sometimes we may show you a series of photos and ask you trivia questions about the photos, other times we play games like "Reverse Family Feud" where you'd have to guess the least popular answers to our question (it's soooo much fun!), or sometimes we'll play a "Find The Common Link" game where you'll have to answer some questions and figure out the common link between all the answers like this:
