The museum is open 930-5 that day. Let's meet by the ticket booth at 945 am and we can enter as a group, then break off into smaller groups if we want to. You're welcome to stay all day, or take off when you're ready.

I'm posting this in other groups, too, so there will be more people going than what you see in this group. Please only RSVP in one group. Guests of all ages are welcome!

HONORING ROSA PARKS - FREE ADMISSION AND PARKING

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white man on a segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Parks' courageous act sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott, a foundational moment in the nationwide Civil Rights Movement.

To mark the 70th anniversary of Mrs. Parks' powerful act, The Henry Ford will offer free admission and parking at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation on Monday, December 1. Visit to see the bus where Rosa Parks made history and discover stories of everyday people inspiring extraordinary change.
