Thirty years ago, I saw fascism coming, and been watching ever since. Fortunately, America's been rising to the challenge ... until now. This time, politicians won't save us ... we the people have to. I know how but need some good people ... the more the merrier :)
Purpose of ‘Eighty Days!’ is:
• attract people that want to make a difference,
• collect a valuable team,
• meet in person in cozy pubs and cafes (chosen by members),
• enjoy meaningful discussions,
• volunteer for small, simple, and specific tasks,
• and make a difference,
• by changing the world in eighty days!
Activities of ‘Eighty Days!’ follow a clear format:
• Steve will meet, greet, and introduce every attendee at each meeting,
• will lead a discussion of relevant, current, global news,
• lead a discussion of our overall objective, intermediary goals, and specific tasks,
• and, ask for volunteer(s) for each specific, small, simple task.
• Attendees will help choose the next meeting day, time, and place,
• and enjoy socializing, our successes, and making a difference!
People of ‘Eighty Days!’ are:
• social, or want to socialize, and make new friends,
• anyone including academics, artists, intellectuals, or self-directed,
• of all ages, and backgrounds,
• care about social justice, progressive politics, social change,
• believe in political activism, volunteering, and that we can make a difference,
• and want purpose, meaning, and to have an impact, and make a difference.
