What we’re about

How can we turn negative forces into something positive and useful for ourselves? This is an essential question for many ancient wisdom traditions. For the alchemist, its turning lead into gold. Sun Tzu referred to it as "adapting advantageously." Gurdjieff called it "the transformation of energies." Ouspensky spoke about "right thinking." Miyamoto Musashi explained it as "the way of strategy." The Emerald Tablets say "separate the fine from the course." Popular wisdom tells us "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

Inner Judo is a practice done in a group setting which helps people flip their challenges into material for personal development. You are welcome to share and engage or simply come and listen. It's an open forum with the aims of connecting people and improving our understanding. The meetings are held at Dragonsnake MMA in Tempe.
