Tezos Open Day

On Saturday, June 25th, despace opens its doors to all Web3 enthusiasts interested in Tezos technology, projects, and the ecosystem. Whether you’ve never seen a wallet or you’ve already set up a baking node, you are very welcome to drop by, meet the Berlin team, and have a sneak peek under the hood at a blockchain ecosystem. 👀

🕰 Agenda:
10.00 am - Open doors with coffee, tea, and snacks
10.00 am - 4.00 pm - Short educational sessions & facilitated discussions
(Including: 1.00 pm - 2.00 pm - Guided NFT minting workshop)
4.00 pm - Closed doors

At the Open Day, you can ask questions and learn about projects the team is working on, NFTs, minting, smart contracts, DApps, and lastly - about hiring possibilities. Stroll around the space, drop by the station you are curious about and hear short educational sessions during the day.

(6) NFT minting

One station (6) will be dedicated to guided NFT minting workshop facilitated by @crcdng. In two 30-min slots (1pm - 1.30 pm // 1.30pm - 2pm), you will have the opportunity to set up the wallet and mint your (first) NFT. 🖼 To do so, bring your laptop and prepare the asset you would like to mint. 🤩

🧑🏼‍🏫 Educational sessions:
Sessions will happen every full hour for 20 min in a casual setup (the topics below might change slightly).

• 11am - 11.20 am - Intro to Web3
• 12pm - 12.20 pm - Tezos as a technology
• 1pm - 1.20 pm - Ecosystem overview
• 2pm - 2.20 pm - Frontend tooling for building Blockchain applications
• 3pm - 3.20 pm - Indexing Tezos: the advantages of strong typing
