Musandam Peninsula cruise and beach camp - Family Friendly

for people who cannot make it on Friday or needn't camp first night can join us next morning at the port in Musandam 9 am sharp.

Details:
This trip is family friendly so all families are welcomed with their kids.
Theming: Dhow cruise, Dolphin surfing witnessing, swimming, snorkeling, camping, BBQ and site seeing.
The plan is to leave UAE on Friday night crossing the border, drive a little bit and camp at a beach. By doing this we avoid delay next morning at the border and make sure we arrive at the port at time for the cruise.
Next morning a quick chill out at the beach and a quick bit before heading to the port where our Dhow is waiting for us, should be there 9 am.
The peninsula cruise is about 3-4 hours, lunch will be served onboard as well water and refreshments. Shower, toilet and snorkeling gear are available.
There is good chance to see dolphins surfing the waves formed by the dhows.
After cruising, the boat will drop us on one of the secluded beaches in the peninsula for a night of camp. We’ll setup our campsite, enjoy relaxing, swimming and snorkeling for the rest of the day. BBQ and soft beverage will be served.
The night will offer more to do: bonfire, music, hot drinks around the fire, marshmallow and off course sharing stories and laughs.
Next morning after lazy wakeup, we will have some time for last time swimming and chilling, breakfast will be served.
A speed boat will pick us with our stuff and transport us to the port.

Optional:

• drive up to the top of plateau for amazing photoshoot over the ridge, RAK city and the gulf sea. Only 4x4 cars can make it.
• Lunch on the way back in a traditional restaurant for beriani and meat/chicken/fish either in Musandam or at RAK City.

All cars can make it to through the trip, no 4x4 is required. (except for optional mountain drive)
This is self-transport event, following is carpooling sheet, please fill in your details. Accordingly ride seekers can communicate with drivers for available seats.

Important note: to make this trip, a minimum number of 15 shall be confirmed.

Included:

• Dhow cruise and speed boat for transport to/from secluded beach.
• Lunch, water, refreshments and fruits on dhow deck during cruising.
• Dinner (BBQ) for second night and next morning breakfast.
• Consumable Cutleries utensils and BBQ gear.
• Wood for bonfire
• Shades for the group.
• Water tank and dispenser for washing and cleaning.
• Toilet tent
• Camp Lights
• Hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate)
• First aid kit

Excluded:

• Camping equipment (Tent, mattress, sleeping bags, pillows, chairs..).
• First night dinner and next morning breakfast.
• Lunch on the way back
• Transport (refer to above transport arrangement)
• Visa and Oman entry/UAE exit fees.

What to bring:

• Legal documents (passport, EID, car insurance, visa..)
• Camping gear (tent, mattress, chairs, sleeping bag..)
• Headlight or torch
• Snacks and your favorite drinks
• Personal stuff (hat, towels, wet wipes, toilet roll, change of cloth, mosquito repellant, sun cream, swim wear..)
• Warm cloths for the night as it might get chilly.

Important Notes:

• To confirm the trip, we need at least 15 participants.
• Make sure to bring your passport along with other legal documents to enter from the border. Passports and resident visas shall be valid for minimum 90 days
• For all drivers: mortgaged or bank financed cars are not allowed, make sure that you are the owner of the car or the owner is present.
• Rented cars must get NOC from the rental agency.
• Individuals on parent sponsorship shall check with Oman embassy for entry regulation, they might need NOC from their sponsor or shall be accompanied by their sponsor.

Fees: AED 250/p. (includes dhow cruise, speed boat, one Lunch, BBQ dinner, breakfast, camp site arrangement and consumables.)

Payment terms:
1- The money is required one week earlier to the event in order to pay the dhow cruising agency in advance.
2- In the event that the trip is cancelled or postponed, a full refund of money will be arranged to all participants.
3- Any cancellation before one week of trip date is fully refund
4- Any cancellation within one week from trip date is non-refundable.
5- No refund for no show.

Estimated cost per person:

• Fees AED 250 as described above
• Oman visa and border entry/exit fees: AED 85
• Lunch on the way back @ traditional restaurant: around AED 35-50.
• Omani Car insurance (if Oman is not covered): AED 100. Can be shared between driver and his passengers.
• Cost of fuel: approx. AED 350 subject to each car engine and consumption. (to be shared between driver and his passengers.
• Snacks, water, first night dinner and next morning breakfast is variable (AED 50-100) depends on each one choice. Prefer to pack sandwiches and other fast making food/ready food.

Total cost should not exceed AED 450-500 pp (including direct and indirect expenses)

Terms & Conditions:

• Please remember that for all kind of events neither organizing Team nor any of the leaders/guiders take any responsibility or indemnify the participants against any injury, loss, or damage suffered during the event.
• Every participant is responsible for himself, his dependents, guests, stuff, assets, and belongings.
• All guests shall be insured and legal residents, any illegality will be the responsibility of the individual.
• All participants/guests must maintain good manners and ethics against other members at all times and any act of violence or harassment will be dealt strictly and the membership will be terminated immediately.
• The organizer may cancel/reschedule the trip at any time based on weather condition or any other force majeure circumstances. For such cancellation/rescheduling the participants has the right to withdraw themselves and their guest from the event and full money will be refunded.
