Calling all Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Mental Health Counselors. This Meetup is aimed at any and all mental health providers that are looking to collaborate and create/enhance professional friendships with other mental health providers in the Research Triangle. In a profession that is confidential in nature and at times very isolated it is hard to find like minded professionals that will understand what a "typical" day is like. Or someone that understands psycho babble and know just because you ask them a personal question it does not mean that you are analyzing them. We consistently tell our patients to seek out social support and utilize it to de-stress, process or to feel connected. Yet, how many of us practice what we preach? Here is your opportunity. The goal of this group is to gather like minded professionals, have a good time and increase connectivity of mental health professionals in the Raleigh-Durham area.
