Join Westcott & PMI for an immersive Halloween Portrait Workshop led by photographer and educator Ray Alvarez, in collaboration with AVC Photo Store & School.

This isn’t just a class—it’s a hands-on creative experience designed to help you explore dramatic portrait photography using creative lighting, smoke effects, and Halloween-inspired setups.

Throughout the workshop, Ray will demonstrate how lighting and atmospheric effects can completely transform a portrait. Then, it’s your turn to create. Attendees will rotate through mini shooting sessions, experimenting with different techniques and setups—and even getting the opportunity to step in front of the camera as the model.

👻 Costumes are highly encouraged! Come dressed up, bring your camera, and get ready to create something different.

### Meet Your Instructor: Ray Alvarez

Ray Alvarez is a NYC-born, Florida-based photographer and the creator behind Shoot With Ray and Weddings By Ray. With more than nine years of experience, he specializes in creative portraits, branding, and wedding photography with an emphasis on genuine emotion and connection.

Beyond his work behind the camera, Ray is an educator and speaker who shares his passion for photography through workshops, mentorships, nationwide speaking engagements, and his YouTube channel. His relaxed, approachable teaching style is all about making photography an experience—not simply taking a picture.
