Palm Springs Tram

We've been doing this for years and it's always wonderful! The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a 10-minute tram ride from the Valley Station to the Mountain Station at 8,516 feet. Walk the Desert View Trail, an easy 2.5 mile loop, with not much elevation gain. There are five notches where you can get spectacular views of the Coachella Valley below you. It's often 30* cooler at top so bring jacket and comfortable walking shoes. Afterwards, Casuelas for Mexican food downtown Palm Springs! (Nice to change shoes for restaurant!)
