Eastern Europe Leg 3

They call Lithuania the "Pearl of the Baltic Sea" and I'm going to find out if that is true! The Baltic countries offer a more authentic experience of the forgotten history of Eastern Europe, from their medieval roots to the bloody fights for independence against the Soviet Union, while also providing a fairy-tale-like experience in their small towns and forests. This will make 70 different countries for me, and I will be glad to get back to beautiful sunny SoCal!
