In 1964, the City bought 202 acres of land, initially known as Bandera Road Park but later renamed O.P. Schnabel Park in 1977. The park is famous for its oak trees, mountain laurels, and native plants.
The plan is to stroll the Old Tower Climb Trail.

After the walk, the plan is go to Torchy's Tacos at 1604 and Bandera for a taco and a drink and chat for awhile.

Please arrive early enough to park, find us, and get a name tag. We will start walking about 5 minutes after 10 am. See you soon!

These walks are always fun and a great way to meet new people.
