Join us for friendly, recreational soccer every Sunday! We welcome players of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to intermediate players.
Our goal is simple: have fun, get some exercise, and build community through the game.

Our Philosophy
We aim to create a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with respect. We value humility, service, sportsmanship, and peace—looking out for one another both on and off the field.
This is recreational soccer, not competitive league play. Winning is secondary to ensuring everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience.

RSVP Required
Please RSVP through Meetup. No guests or walk-ins, please.
If you RSVP, please do your best to attend so we can organize balanced teams and provide everyone a chance to play.

Playing Rules

• No slide tackles.
• No rough play, aggressive language, arguments, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
• Play fair and call your own fouls (honor system).
• Be especially careful during corner kicks and aerial challenges.
• Help retrieve balls you kick out of play.
• Help set up and put away equipment when possible.
• If play becomes too intense, help slow the game down and keep things safe.

Location & Timing
We primarily play in Cerritos and Long Beach.
Please arrive a few minutes early to warm up, help set up, and allow us to start on time. We typically play on grass fields, and soccer cleats are recommended for safety and traction.

Equipment
We provide pinnies for team selection.
Please bring:

• Water
• Soccer cleats or athletic shoes
• A soccer ball (if you have one)

Donation
To help keep the meetup running, we suggest a minimum donation of $2 per session to help cover field costs, equipment, goals, cones, pinnies, and soccer balls.
Donations can be made in person (cash), Venmo (@woncheon), or Zelle (history.gordon@gmail.com).

No-Show Policy
Please RSVP only if you intend to play.
If you can no longer attend, update your RSVP as early as possible so someone from the waitlist can join. Repeated no-shows may result in temporary loss of RSVP priority or removal from future events.

Respect the Community
Please respect fellow players, neighbors, schools, parks, and facilities. Help keep our fields clean by picking up trash—even if it isn't yours.

To help keep this community healthy and sustainable, please do not attend events primarily to recruit players for other leagues, teams, venues, or organizations. If you have ideas for collaboration, feel free to speak with the organizers first.
