The Hanfu & Qipao Society

Dear members,
My name is Helen, I am the new leader of the Hanfu Group. I am organising the first event of this group. It is a song dynasty tea whisking ritual. It will take 2 hours. I hope you all come dressed in Hanfu or Qipao. Some people may say that Qipao is not Hanfu, but I think that our group is about the broad Chinese culture, so you can come dressed in Qipao. We go to a tea house in Balmain to experience the ancient tea whisking ritual of the Song dynasty. There is someone to lead us through the ritual the explanations will be in Mandarin, because I haven’t met any of you, I don’t know if you all know Mandarin. If you don’t, I will try and explain the instructions in English. Please don’t talk about politics at this event, we are here to experience Chinese culture. I limit the number of people to 12 due to the size of the venue.I know some of you are on holiday in China, so not many people will turn up to the event, if we have less than 6 people, the event will be cancelled.
