About us
Welcome to Art in the Park
The intention of this event is a fun, low stakes social art event. Let’s meet in the park, get a little sunshine and give some time to our art projects, together.
This is welcome to literally any art, you can come and sketch, sew, write, draw, colour, wittle or anything else you are working on.
From beginner to expert, art is a wonderful expression, journey and a great practise of meditation / mindfulness. This isn’t a critic group or even a group that requires you to share what you are working on. Just a place to meet and be productive ( to whatever criteria that word means to you ) together.
Conversation is welcome but also feel free to put the headphones on and get into your flow state.
Please be mindful of those around you and respect that this event is calm and relaxed in nature. Some may come for socialising, others might come to focus on their art, either is encouraged.
