For our next Meetup we'll be heading to a gig at the Finsbury pub in Central London for a night of fun, chat and music.
Here is a description of the event:
Mauvaise Bounce is an evening of live music hosted by The Giving Style.
The night promotes mental well-being and tackling loneliness within older communities (and beyond) through music (Pear Person Tackles Loneliness).

Chris Ballew from the band Presidents of the United States of America deemed, ''Tagine on the Table' kicks booty in a very swiny, sultry and slinky sort of way that I love!'TGS will showcase music created by the older community to tackle loneliness and mix in some instrumental numbers to clear your head. TGS will be joined by an older group as part of the Pear Person Tackles Loneliness project, showcasing their new track 'African Girl'!

Scott and Ryland recently moved to London from Australia and bring with them a distinctly Antipodean approach to songwriting. They've teamed up with the talented rhythm section of Daniel and Will to deliver quirky and energetic sets of pure rock n roll.
Wait, did I mishear you? You don't like Flight of the Conchords? Well that's lucky, because although everyone compares Van Gogh Fast to Flight of the Conchords, this new London band are actually a deadly serious rock n roll band. Drawing inspiration from Pavement, Kraftwerk, and Dutch post-impressionist painters, Van Gogh Fast are sure to be your new favourite unsuccesful, non-commercial, unknown band.
