🎤 CORMAC RUSSELL
Blending the lyrical honesty of folk with the sonic experimentation of alternative rock, Cormac Russell brings an international spirit to every track. Raised between North America and Ireland, his politically charged and emotionally resonant songs tackle everything from climate change to inequality. With eight DIY albums under his belt — all recorded in his bedroom — and a full band now backing him on tour, Cormac’s live show is as stirring as it is sonically adventurous. Think Radiohead meets Wilco, with a touch of The Smiths and Pavement. Expect goosebumps.
🎸 VAN GOGH FAST
From Australia to the heart of London’s indie scene, Van Gogh Fast are a post-everything, tongue-in-cheek, hard-to-pin-down rock band. Described (frequently) as “Flight of the Conchords meets Pavement,” their sets veer from surreal storytelling to full-on sonic freak-outs. But don’t be fooled—this is serious music played by seriously good musicians. With nods to Kraftwerk and Dutch post-impressionism (yep), Van Gogh Fast are gloriously off-kilter and unexpectedly brilliant.
🎵 ARIF RAIHAN
London-based Bangladeshi artist Arif Raihan delivers emotional resonance with stadium-ready sound. Drawing influence from Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Queen, and jazz-infused pop-rock, his songs speak of love, longing, and transformation. With his dynamic seven-piece band—including three powerhouse backing vocalists—Arif transforms his acoustic roots into lush, euphoric arrangements. His debut EP Skydiving is already making waves, and his live shows promise a soaring, heartfelt experience.
🎶 RYLAND NEWSTEAD
Armed with an acoustic guitar (or maybe an electric — it’ll depend how he’s feeling), Ryland Newstead delivers energetic, melodic songs that hit like a jolt of sunshine. But don’t expect whispery love songs or delicate ballads — in the words of XTC, this is POP! (Well, quirky, rock’n’roll-leaning pop, if we’re being specific.) With a brand new album dropping on the night itself — featuring 14 tracks about life, death, and everything in between — Ryland’s set is sure to be full of surprises and singalong hooks.
