Details
Wednesday 10th July The Spanish Galleon, 48 Greenwich Church Street
The famous Cutty Sark, an archbishop killed by vikings, a bustling market, Orwell's first date with soon-to-be wife, a statue of Nelson and a terrific pub named after his famous victory.
Take the DLR to the Cutty Sark station, turn left at the exit, walk through the small arcade and the first pub "The Spanish Galleon" is on the other
side of the road opposite you. Meet at 7.00 pm to 7.30. The walk starts at 7.30. This is a free event. I will be wearing a maroon shirt.
