Beau Brummell, Gentlemen's Clubs, The Texas Embassy, Nell Gwynne’s house. Chequers Tavern is on Duke Street, down an alley next to Fortnum and Mason on Piccadilly. The pub is so small that the patrons often spill over into the huge yard at the back of the pub. You will have to mill around until you encounter me in my maroon shirt. You are allowed to take your drink outside. Meet at 7.00 pm to 7.30. The walk starts at 7.30. This is a free event.
