Wednesday 16th April. I will be waiting for you from 7.00 till 7.30 in the pub. We start at The Greene Man, 283 Euston Road. This is a free event. There is a ground floor area which sometimes shows football events plus a quiet basement area. It is very close to Gt Portland Street tube station. I will be wearing a maroon shirt. We will see where jazz musician Sidney Bechet lived, then Fitzroy Square (Virginia Woolf, GB Shaw and Ian McEwan) then painter John Constable. Listen to Bechet's best known
jazz tune - "Petite Fleur". Sublime.
Caution: most internet sources omit the final "e" in Greene.
