The Write Stuff workshop

Our members read and react to each writer’s work in advance. Anyone wanting to workshop a piece will send it as a word doc by 5:30 p.m. Pacific time on the Monday before our scheduled meeting to piscespoet @yahoo.com. We ask you to limit your work to five pages of double-spaced text.
Those collected pieces go out 7 p.m. PST. This allows everyone a few days to read and react to each piece.
We meet on Thursday via Zoom starting at 2:30 p.m., then read in order of each person’s appearance to the meeting. Writing can be of any genre.
While there are no set time limits on reading and responses, writers should be mindful of others so that everyone gets a chance to receive feedback. After the meeting, we ask that you send each writer his or her piece with whatever notes you wish to include in the document.
