Games for a cause: Introduction to JAKIN's Children Club (JCC)

Details
Remember how you first learned to love games as a child?
Sadly, many children living on the streets do not have that opportunity. They are consumed with hustling to survive-- they lack quality healthcare, sound education and positive uplifting recreation.
For our 2nd Edition of "Games for a Cause", we are planning to visit JAKIN NGO's "JAKIN's Children Club" (JCC) monthly meeting for 500 vulnerable children. The club bring vulnerable and underprivileged children together once a month to receive reformative/transformative training to help improve their quality of life. Some of the training include excursions, nutrition, sports, health, career, road safety and child rights. The children are also given transport fare allowance, take home packages of indomie noodles, educational, and/or hygiene supplies.
Our planned upcoming engagement with JCC are:
-
Saturday, July 15 2017, 9am - 12pm: Introduction to the staff and children to understand their monthly format and their future plans.
-
Saturday, August TBA 2017: Lagos Games Meetup official event to play games with the children.
This posting is for the July 15 introduction. Please let us know if you are interested in coming for the meet and greet. Thanks.
See you soon!
