Remember how you first learned to love games as a child?
Sadly, many children do not have that opportunity to grow up in homes with games and positive recreation. Some are abused, neglected, rejected, and maltreated.
For our 3rd Edition of "Games for a Cause", we are planning to visit Echoes of Mercy and Hope, a non-profit organization who rehabilitates, provides a home and education to girls who have gone through abuse or neglect.
THE GAMES: This first meeting will be multi-game style. We plan to bring at a minimum:
• Chess (Strategy)
• Scrabble (helps with English, Math, Strategy)
• Whot (this card game helps with Strategy)
• 4-Faces of Diamonds (this card game helps with Math, Strategy)
• Ayo (helps with Strategy)
• Monopoly (helps with Entrepreneurship, Business Acumen, Math, Strategy, Geography, Negotiations)
