"When we have a solid relationship with ourselves, we can confidently go after the life we desire. The opinions, and judgments of other people become irrelevant. Life opens up in ways we haven't even imagined possible. New people and opportunities present themselves. Magic unfolds."
CYWY events are free and accessible via Zoom. Opportunities include yoga, Intentional Living Circles, Empowered Living Chats, a book study, a Relationship Support Group, and a "Good" Grief Support Group.
CYWY also has many recorded events that you can view on Connecting You with Your Self - YouTube

"The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself. All other relationships will be reflected by it. You can't have a healthy relationship with anyone else until you have a successful relationship with yourself."

Longing at the Core: Understanding What Drives You
·OnlineOnlineEach Enneagram type is driven by a core desire that fuels both its greatest strengths and its biggest struggles. We will explore how these basic desires shape our lives and how to work with yours in a healthier, more freeing way.
Description:
At the heart of each personality type is a basic desire, a deep inner longing that organizes how you see the world, make decisions, and relate to yourself and others. This core motivation is not inherently problematic. In fact, it is often the source of each type’s greatest gifts, strengths, and contributions. It gives our lives energy and meaning. However, the ego can co-opt this desire, turning something healthy into something rigid, distorted, and ultimately self-defeating. What begins as a genuine longing for something good can become a compulsive strategy to secure it, often creating the very suffering we are trying to avoid.
In this Intentional Living Circle, we will explore the basic desire for all nine Enneagram types, how it shows up in both healthy and unhealthy ways, and how to recognize when the ego has taken over. We will also look at practical ways to reconnect with the deeper, more life-giving expression of your desire so it becomes a pathway toward growth and freedom rather than limitation.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what truly drives you and your loved ones and how to work with your motivation more consciously in everyday life.

Wisdom for Hard Times: How the Enneagram Can Help
Lafayette Public Library, 775 west Baseline Rd, Lafayette, CO, USExperiential workshop for navigating challenging times with intention
When the world feels destabilizing, it matters how we respond. We are living through a time that feels intense, uncertain, and often overwhelming. It’s easy to fall into reactivity and exhaustion. But with intention, we can learn to stay grounded and respond with integrity.
This workshop explores the deeper themes within the Enneagram symbol as a guide for navigating challenging times. Rather than focusing on personality types, it draws from the wisdom represented at each point of the symbol. We will explore themes such as courageous action, community support, emotional intelligence, and the sustaining power of joy.
Learn about meeting the current moment with right action, while at the same time honoring your needs and supporting each other. Together, we will explore ways to engage without burning out, staying connected to what matters with courage and resilience.

### Presentation:
### “The Part of You That’s Always Scanning"
Before your Type even kicks in, your instincts are quietly assessing the room. Are you scanning for safety, belonging, or intensity? Your dominant instinct acts like an invisible driver, shaping what grabs your attention and what feels hard to ignore.
In this session, we’ll explore how your dominant instinct influences what you notice, prioritize, and potentially over-focus on. In a panel-style conversation, we’ll look at how the three instincts can show up differently within the same Enneagram Type and in your own lived experience. And in conversation groups, we'll also see how people with a different Enneagram Type, but the same dominant instinct, can feel somewhat alike.
Come explore how the instincts are flavoring your Type.
