’ve been talking about this New a lot, and it occurred to me that I still mean it — despite knowing better — as something completely different, further away, or “more.” In addition, the collective story of April (and spring) as the “new beginning” subtly implies that the New is pending, somehow.
I see a few issues with this implication: The New is coming… externally… from somewhere, somehow,
AND/OR
we still need to become, to allow, to let go, to surrender… to do something… for the connection between self and the New to be made.
Basically, there’s always some type of distance in this relationship.(And notice how distance might feel a bit better than separation.)
Once I was able to sit in that distance-space, I saw how the New — at least this one I was looking into — is more of an “enhancement,” for lack of a better word, to what’s already there.
For example, if before we held the New as a choice between what was/is and something else, now we don’t perceive making choices in such a binary way. The New could be an adjustment of what was/is — like a recalibration into a new alignment. We no longer need to drop the old out of judgment. Or better put — out of the inability to hold something that’s not “good enough.”
I’m seeing how we (the collective field) can hold more fragmented pieces of ourselves without collapsing under judgment. The New could simply mean being comfortable enough to not make any choices at all — allowing a fuller picture to reveal itself.
But as soon as we touch that space of the New, we want to name it...Otherwise, we can’t point to it — to show ourselves or others “proof.” And in that paradox of naming it something, it’s no longer new. We switch to external projection and validation.
This internal New translates externally as ripeness. The fruit falls on its own when it has ripened. Meaning, movement from accumulated clarity arises naturally, with ease — because nothing had to be forced or micro-managed into happening.
I know how this sounds. It’s already different on the screen compared to how it feels internally. It might sound like something that’s been said many times before, in many ways — almost like a cliché. Except I’m a field reader, not an individual having an isolated experience. So this is happening at a collective level and that changes how we relate to ourselves in a very practical way.
I’m saying that we’re healing collectively from a space of allowing because we’ve developed the capacity to hold our distortions from softness.
At an individual level, this applies and moves at different degrees and speeds. And yes, we might interpret it differently, skewing the energy into our own understanding. That’s okay. The path is not linear anyway.
So here’s the point I’m trying to make, in a roundabout way: Don’t rush into something you’re starting to see clearly just because that clarity begins to feel more settled in your body.
That’s the ripening beginning — not necessarily completion of the whole picture. Of course, make it applicable to your situation, but allow things to settle beyond the point where you think they’ve reached a conclusion.
Don’t conclusion your conclusions 🙂 this period! Just: this might be a conclusion. And see how that unfolds.
I know how big this work is — how deep it goes, into the marrow and beyond. Nerves buzzing… then settling for a short while… before the buzzing resumes. So let’s keep practicing. The next free Alignment Circle is happening next Thursday evening — details below.
I see you.
I celebrate us.
