Explore how personality shapes how we seek connection, express love, and relate to one another. By understanding where you and your partner are coming from, you can navigate differences more effectively and build a deeper, more meaningful connection.
Description: Every one of us experiences relationships through our own unique lens. What helps one person feel deeply loved and understood may not have the same meaning for someone else. Without realizing it, we often assume our partner sees the world the way we do, leading to misunderstandings and unmet needs.

In this Intentional Living Circle, we will explore two powerful ways the Enneagram shapes our experience of relationships. First, we will look at the three Centers of Intelligence and how they influence the way we perceive the world, communicate, and seek connection. Some people naturally connect through embodied presence and action, others through emotional attunement and appreciation, and others through understanding and a sense of safety.

We will also explore the three Instincts and the different needs they bring to relationships. For some, love is expressed through creating stability and supporting one another's well-being. Others experience connection through friendship and bonding. Others feel most alive in relationships through emotional intimacy and energetic passion.

As we better understand these different perspectives, we become more capable of offering love in ways the other person can truly receive. We also become better equipped to navigate conflict with curiosity instead of frustration, recognizing that our differences are often rooted in different ways of experiencing the world rather than a lack of care. Each relationship naturally emphasizes some qualities while overlooking others, and how consciously bringing in those missing perspectives can create greater balance, resilience, and connection.
