Totnes to Paignton Walk, Return by Bus

Distance 9 miles
Difficulty level 3 (easy-ish)

This is a really nice walk I did with friends recently, thought it would make a great event.

1. Meet in Totnes (Bridgetown), near where I live. Details to follow.
2. Walk the Totnes-Torbay Path, goes past Berry Pomeroy and into Paignton on a lovely wooded path.
3. Lunch opposite Preston beach. Optional swim.
4. Walk to Paignton Bus Station.
5. Catch Stagecoach Gold Bus (£3) which drops us very near the start point.

We are obviously beholded to bus times, but they run every hour, and it should be fine :-)

Admin Notes
There is a small fee of £2 per person for each walk (paid in cash on the day) to cover costs of running the group site on Meetup (£360 pa) and some minor expenses incurred when reconnoitring walks, mostly fuel and a pint.
This is a not for profit group intended as a social event for people who share an interest in the natural world. You are responsible for your own safety and welfare so please come appropriately dressed for a long rural walk taking account of the prevailing weather conditions. Should you participate in any foraging events, it is your own responsibility to identify, to your own satisfaction, anything you plan to eat. Some walks may involve an additional degree of physical challenge. If so, this will be clearly stated in the description. If you then choose to participate in these activities you do so at your risk.
