Autumn Stag Rutting Event

Details

This is a truly special experience, a day to witness one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles: the red stag rut.

Each autumn, in the peaceful heart of Dulverton, Baronsdown Wildlife Reserve becomes the stage for this awe-inspiring natural drama. Here in this protected landscape, stags can roam free and wild, safe from stag hunting They put on an unforgettable display of power and grace during the rut; it’s an unforgettable sight.

The day is thanks to the charity the League Against Cruel Sports and will include a guided trip to the fields where we hope to see the stags in action. We can also join a guided nature walk, hear from the League’s experts and discover more about the vital work of this charity dedicated to protecting our wildlife.

A delicious lunch and refreshments are included. We will make arrangements to go together in cars and appropriate meeting place(s) once I have confirmed numbers and names. All costs are donated to the charity. If you’re interested and would like to book a place, please sign up and message me directly with your name, email address and payment. Refunds are only possible if someone can take your space.
