Friday Fungi Forage 6-7km (Rating 3 Moderate)

Mushrooms and toadstools are popping up all over thanks to the recent rain so best not miss the chance to find a few interesting fungi.
This will be a circular mushroom foray starting at Trenchford reservoir. You will need to have some means of navigating as we may split up, plus a penknife and a basket of some kind to carry the mushrooms you find, wicker is ideal. A stick is also handy but these actually do grow on trees so just find one once you get there if you like. There is a large area of open access mixed woodland near Tenchford where we can wander at our leisure. It is steep in places but there are plenty of tracks too. After a few hours foraging we'll meet again at 1.30pm ish back at Trenchford carpark and retire to the Palk arms for a bevvy whilst examine our haul.
