Sensory Bluebell Woods & Coastal Walk from Sidmouth

Join me for a scenic circular walk from Sidmouth, going through bluebell woods, wildflower meadows, the coast path and back along the river Sid.
Distance: approximately 8 K
The terrain is varied, with some narrow, wet and muddy stretches. So suitable footwear & clothing are essential. Also, some of it is along the road, during which you need to keep an eye out for passing vehicles.
We will be taking on a steep hill at the start of the walk, which is the most challenging part.
But this will be a slow paced walk with plenty of opportunities to rest and recover throughout it.
And to take in the beautiful sights, sounds and scents in the air of course.😊

We’ll be meeting on the seafront, opposite Rockfish (The Esplanade, Sidmouth EX10 8BE) and could potentially have fish & chips there or somewhere nearby at the end.

There is a small fee of £2 for each walk to cover costs of the meetup page which is currently £320 per year and also to cover some minor expenses incurred when reconnoitering walks, mostly fuel and a pint.
