About us
Welcome to Chicago Sunday Brunch!
This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who wants to build real friendships in Chicago through small, in-person meetups like brunches and coffee chats in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Whether you’ve just moved to the city, have lived here for years, or simply want to expand your circle beyond coworkers and old friends, this group is about making genuine connections.
We gather at local brunch spots and cafés across neighborhoods like West Loop, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, River North, and beyond. Each meetup is intentionally small, usually 4–6 people, so conversations feel natural and everyone has a chance to connect.
How it works:
We host small-group brunches and coffee meetups where members can talk, share stories, and get to know each other in a comfortable setting. After you RSVP, you’ll receive details about the time and location. Many members choose to stay in touch after their first meetup and often attend again with familiar faces. The focus is on community, not just one-time events.
We use a coordination tool called Groupvibe to help organize each meetup and manage small group placements.
Group affiliation:
Chicago Sunday Brunch is organized by the team behind Groupvibe, a platform designed to help people connect offline through intentional, small-group gatherings. While we use Groupvibe to coordinate logistics, this Meetup group’s purpose is community building. There is no requirement to purchase anything to participate in our Meetup events; members simply cover their own food and drinks at the venue.
Who should join?
Anyone in Chicago (ages 25–45) who is looking for more meaningful social experiences and prefers smaller, more intentional gatherings over large parties or networking-style events. Members should be open to respectful conversation, inclusivity, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Our intention is simple: create consistent opportunities for Chicago locals to meet face-to-face and form lasting friendships.
Let’s make Chicago feel a little smaller, one brunch at a time.
