Third Sat. Contra Dance

This is a no-official-host dance to live music at the Fulton Community Center, 68 SW Miles Street in Portland. All are welcome.

Music tonight from one of Portland's most gifted fiddlers, Betsy Branch, whose lilting, swooping fiddle pairs seamlessly with the powerful (and sometimes wild!) style of Mark Douglass on keyboard. Professional level calling from Lindsey Dono. Lesson for newcomers at 7 pm, dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 with a short break halfway through.

Bring water, clothing appropriate for indoor aerobic activity and smooth-soled shoes for dancing. Please do not wear scented products to the dance.

Cost: suggested entry of $15 helps us break even; sliding scale is available. Cash, check or card.
