Contra Dance & Waltz Workshop

This is a no-host dance to live music at the Fulton Community Center, 68 SW Miles Street in Portland. This week only, we are offering a one-hour waltz workshop (to recorded music) led by skilled instructor, Juanita Ewing.

For the contra dancing, live music from The Overtones, a 5-member band with all the right instruments and all the best tunes! Calling from Noah Grunzweig. Lesson for newcomers at 7 pm, dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 with a short break halfway through.

Bring water, clothing appropriate for indoor aerobic activity and smooth-soled shoes for dancing. Please do not wear scented products to the dance.

Cost: $15 entry fee allows us to break even; sliding scale is available; cash, check or credit card.
