This is a no-official-host contra dance at the Fulton Community Center, 68 SW Miles Street in Portland. All are welcome!

Music from Front of House (Lori Shaffer and Ben Blechman on fiddle -- that's two fiddles for you fiddle lovers) with creative keyboardist Mark Douglass providing a solid beat. Frannie Marr, a longtime favorite Pacific NW caller now living in the Portland area, leads the evening. Lesson for newcomers at 7 pm, then dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 with a short break halfway through.

Bring water, clothing appropriate for indoor aerobic activity and smooth-soled shoes for dancing. Please do not wear scented products.

Cost: $15 suggested entry fee allows us to break even; sliding scale is available.

Covid protocols: full vaccination and mask-wearing is recommended but not required.

Note: There are always plenty of dancers on the floor irrespective of how many people RSVP via Meetup. For more information, go to: www.portlandcountrydance.org.
