Palmer Park Clean-up

Palmer Park Clean-up

Details

Artsy Queer, youth specialist with the Ruth Ellis Center, has put together a Palmer Park Clean-up event. While the history of this 296-acre public park dates back 1893, it is commonly known as where the “Hotter than July” Pride celebration, hosted by LGBT Detroit, is held. This beautiful park has a trail, camping ground, duck pond, fountain, and is where the DPD horses are raised. There is much work to be done, but it will be a fun-filled day with food, games, and music. Come clean-up Palmer Park with us!
