Mystical Statuary of the World V

The human visage, hand gestures, and form can be keys to draw forth and realize the presence of the Divine Within, the Master Within. We will see how this urge for illumination has expressed itself through sculpture for the great enrichment of us all and in the remembrance of our true nature. We will consider an early stone sculpture of the Buddha, John Wilson’s Eternal Presence, David Ruben Piqtoukun’s People of the Midnight Sun, and some sculpture at Chartres Cathedral.
