I saved 700k in staff wages by building my own platform using AI
Details
I'm Gus Gale. I run an NDIS business in Brisbane called Delta Community Support (www.deltacommunity.com.au) I have over 100 staff in this business alone. Two years ago I was drowning — $15K/month in software subscriptions that didn't fit, and a payroll bill stacked with admin staff doing work that should've been automated.
So I built my own platform. From scratch. Using Claude Code, Codex, and AI tools anyone can buy today. I'm not a developer. I've never written production code in my life.
It's called Titus CRM (www.titus-crm.com) — but it's more than a CRM. In one place I built my own Rostering, HR, Recruitment, and Invoicing platform. Every system my business runs on, under one roof, built by me with AI.
- $700,000/year in office staff wages — gone
- $15,000/month in third-party SaaS subscriptions — cancelled
- Built in months, not years
- Zero traditional dev hires
The unlock that killed the admin layer: I automated the reporting my Team Leaders were doing manually every week — incident reports, shift notes, compliance checks, client progress, roster variances. Once that reporting ran itself, I didn't need a whole admin team to chase, collate, and format it. The Team Leaders kept doing the work. The platform did the paperwork. That single change is where most of the $700K in wages disappeared.
Why this applies to ANY business
Every business — trades, retail, hospitality, agencies, clinics, signage, construction — has a layer of staff manually moving information between systems. Reports. Timesheets. Quotes. Invoices. Onboarding paperwork. That's the admin layer. It's expensive, it's slow, and AI can collapse it.
On Monday I'll show you the playbook: how to identify which of YOUR systems and reporting can be automated, and how to actually build it with AI without writing code.
