Details
This is a low-cost, fun and intensive group workshop for anyone developing long-form ideas for feature film or High-End TV and it will take place on a Sunday afternoon, Feb 1st, 2926 in the John James Room at Windmill City Farm, Bristol.
It's suitable for both beginners and more experienced writers, as this session can be shaped to support different people you at whatever stage you’re at. Led by an industry filmmaker and Senior lecturer in Film.
We’ll look at what’s needed to develop film and HETV ideas, the key preparation materials (treatments, decks and pitch essentials), and how to be clear and concise.
Through relaxed group discussion and practical exercises, you’ll workshop ideas together and have a go at pitching in a supportive, informal environment.
You get what you put in, and you’re encouraged to use the time in a way that best serves your own creative goals. If you like you can bring an idea you’re already working on or start fresh on something new.
An enjoyable, hands-on session designed to build confidence, clarity and creative momentum. Cafe next door with coffees or bring your own.
