Screenwriting & Pitching for Film and HETV, now ONLINE

This is a low-cost, fun and intensive online group workshop for anyone developing long-form ideas for feature film or High-End TV. It will take place on Sunday afternoon, Feb 1st, 2026, and will be delivered live via an online platform.

It’s suitable for both beginners and more experienced writers, as the session can be shaped to support people at whatever stage they’re at. The workshop is led by an industry filmmaker and Senior Lecturer in Film.
We’ll look at what’s needed to develop film and HETV ideas, the key preparation materials (treatments, decks and pitch essentials), and how to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.

Through relaxed group discussion and practical exercises, you’ll workshop ideas together and have a go at pitching in a supportive, informal online environment.

You get what you put in, and you’re encouraged to use the time in a way that best serves your own creative goals. You can bring an idea you’re already working on or start fresh on something new.
