What we’re about
We are a group of friendly fun-loving friends that likes to meet new people, make friends and have fun. The group will host events such as hiking, beachcombing, eating-out, attending community events together, movies, plays, walking/hiking, board games, barbeques, etc. Events are planned in the Oregon south west area near Florence, Oregon. The group is open to people of all ages who want to make new friends.

Just a few guidelines, if you become a member, please attend some events, if not, what's the purpose. Also, if you RSVP for an event, please show-up and if you cant just let us know with a comment, preferably at least 24 hours beforehand or switch your status to not going. Some events may be held at member's residence's. Generally, to attend an event at a member's house, a member must have previously attended at least 3 other group events. Feel free to speak with anyone on the leadership team for more on this.
MEETUP WAIVER
By joining and/or being a member of this group you agree to the following. Your fully informed decision to join/remain in this group is evidence of your acceptance.
(Summary: You agree not to hold us responsible for anything that happens related to transactions with third parties, member interactions, or in connection with a Meetup group or Meet-up event. You also agree not to hold organizers responsible for their negligence in connection with their Content, a Meetup group, or Meet-up event.)
Full Version: You agree to release us and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, Consultants, Affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, and other third-party Partners (referred to in this Agreement as "Meetup Parties") from claims, demands, and damages (direct and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, now in and in the future (referred to in this Agreement as "Claims"), arising out of or in any way connected with any transaction with a third party, your interactions with other members, or in connection with a Meetup group or a Meet-up event. You also agreed to release organizers from Claims based on an organizer's negligence arising out of or in any way connected with their Content, a Meetup group, or a Meet-up event. You're further wave any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non statutory law of any jurisdiction that would proport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. In short, you are responsible for yourself, your actions, and won't hold anyone else responsible for anything that happens while you are participating in the group's activities!
