TATE MODERN VISIT (REVISIT)

Details
Hello,
Do you think you have been to Tate Modern and you have seen it all?
You might like to think again.
Did you know that approximately 20% of the artworks are renewed every 6 months to a year and you forget the remaining 50% from before.
Is it likely that it's about time to visit Tate Modern again - even more reason for the first time?
We will meet inside the glass corner of Tate Modern Corner Cafe - river front facade West (right) corner.
Nearest Public Transport:
Blackfriars Cross Rail Station South exit (if by underground, cross the river through the rail station) turn right after ticket barriers or by Blackfriars Bridge.
Southwark Station (Jubilee Line) - cross road wearing left and walk along Union Street, after the rail bridge, turn left into Great Suffolk Street, Tate Modern is ahead of you.
12 June 2025 at 2:30pm (come earlier if you prefer a drink or something before) - and 14 June at 2:30pm but please RSVP.
We will visit newly opened
Louise Bourgeois’s the 10 metre-high stainless-steel spider, re-installed in The Turbine Hall, for the 25th Anniversary of the gallery opening as it was there 25 years ago
Alberto Giacometti’s collection of renowned sculptures (impressively curated and lit after years of absence).
Mark Rothko 'Seagram Murals’, recently returned to Tate Modern after a long visit to Paris (Foundation Louis Vuitton Mark Rothko Retrospective) and Tate St Ives, now rested and back in their full glory.
Joan Mitchell’s ‘Iva’ the biggest donation since 1969
Perhaps a few more key artworks will be added.
Experience the real arts, words cannot describe, photography cannot capture the scale, the texture, the real colour, and….. experience cannot be repeated…. even if the art stays the same, we will all change.
………..
And a social drink to follow in a hopefully quiet and suitable venue with the willing.
