About Gilad de Vries
Gilad is the SVP of Strategy at Outbrain and is in charge of the corporate development unit. He has been working as an exec at Outbrain for the past 6 years, in which he has lead various groups including product management, product marketing and business intelligence.
Prior to that he was Principal and Vice President of Digital Media in Carmel Ventures, one of the leading VCs in Israel, leading investments in the mobile, internet and the digital media space. Gilad provided extended assistance to the portfolio in business development, marketing and strategy and was greatly involved in the development of the fund's ecosystem. Carmel's digital media portfolio includes leading companies such as eXelate, Kontera (acquired by Singtel), Outbrain, LiveU, Amadesa (acquired by LivePerson), MyThings, SundaySky, Clarizen, Payoneer, Kampyle, PicApp (acquired by Ybrant Digital) and Snaptu (acquired by Facebook).
