Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Published in 1818 by Mary Shelley, Frankenstein is a foundational Gothic horror and science fiction novel. It tells the tragic story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who builds an artificial creature from dead bodies, only to reject it in horror, leading to ruin for them both.
