According to OI, our emotional well-being is heavily influenced by our biology: by our nervous system state. Traditional talk therapy tends not to address the nervous system state. According to OI, gently working with the nervous system state can bring about a deeper level of emotional well-being.
To be clear, I'm not a licensed therapist and I'm not offering psychotherapy. What I'm offering here is nervous system regulation, which is generally used as a complement to traditional psychotherapy. (I'm a philosophy professor, by the way, for my main career.)

I'm offering free one-on-one OI sessions to gay men who are curious about OI and interested in seeing if it can help them. These sessions will be on Zoom, at least for now.
I'm also interested in setting up group meetings for teaching and experiencing OI, once there's enough of an established base of men who are interested and would seem like a good fit to be in a group. Maybe different groups for different age ranges.
