This class is ONLY for people with little to know knowledge about cryptos
We will be teaching begginers about what crypto currencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin) are and how to use them. We will be using litecoin (LTC) as an example. Please bring $5 for your share of lightcoin to practice setting up a wallet and transferring coin.
Topics will include
- How cryptos work
- How to set up a crypto wallet
- How to buy crypto currencies
- How to transfer crypto currencies
- How to back up and secure crypto currencies
- How to avoid scams
THERE WILL BE NO INVESTMENT ADVICE.
It is NOT for socializing.
It is NOT for people who already on cryptos and know how they work
It is NOT for discussion about investingIt is NOT for buying/selling/trading cryptos
This class is ONLY for beginners who want to learn the basics.
• What to bring
$5 cash if you want to buy some litecoin (optional), pen, paper and a cell phone or laptop to set up a crypto currency wallet on.
• Important to know
Because the meeting room is small we have a limited class size. If there is a waitlist I will remove anyone who does not use a real pic (clear, recent, headshot, nothing covering their face) to make room.
Doors will be closed and locked at 1:30. Anyone who is late or does not RSVP will not be allowed in.
