Gower Peninsula Walking Weekend
Bank Holiday Weekend – 2nd & 3rd May
Join us for a relaxed and scenic walking weekend on the stunning Gower Peninsula in South Wales, the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Known for its dramatic cliffs, sweeping beaches and picturesque coastal villages, the Gower provides some of the most beautiful walking routes in the country.
This weekend is designed to combine great coastal walks, good company, and enjoyable food and drink stops along the way.
Participants are welcome to join for one day or both days, with the option of staying locally on the Saturday night to make the most of the full weekend.
⸻
Arrival
Most people will arrive on Friday evening, ready to begin the first walk on Saturday morning.
However, if you are unable to arrive Friday, you are welcome to join us directly for the Saturday walk.
Accommodation will need to be arranged independently, but suggested options will be provided to help you find suitable places nearby.

We will be walking on:
Saturday 2nd May
Sunday 3rd May
Both days will follow a similar relaxed structure, with walks starting late morning and finishing mid-afternoon.

Finish Time: Approximately 5:00pm
Each walk will include stops at local pubs, cafés, or restaurants where possible, allowing us to enjoy some of the fantastic food and drink the Gower has to offer while taking in the coastal views.
Routes will follow sections of the Gower Coast Path, taking us past beaches, cliffs, and some of the peninsula’s most scenic viewpoints.
Full route details will be provided closer to the weekend.
