Tennis Social - Mixed doubles 🎾🍻

Fancy a friendly game of tennis on a Sunday afternoon? 🎾

I’m organising a relaxed Tennis Mixer at Warwick Boat Club on Sunday 25 October, from 4:00pm–5:30pm.

The plan is to book two to three courts with eight to twelve players, playing doubles and swapping partners and opponents periodically so everyone gets a chance to play with different people.

Depending on the final mix of people who sign up, we’ll play mixed doubles where possible. I’ll confirm the exact format once I know our final numbers.

🎾 Who is it for?

You definitely don’t need to be an advanced player, and it doesn’t matter if you haven’t played for a while. However, this probably isn’t suitable for complete beginners — you should know the basics of tennis and be comfortable having a rally and playing a game.

Please bring your own racket.

The emphasis is very much on friendly, social tennis rather than anything too serious or competitive. It’s a chance to have a good game, meet some new people and enjoy an afternoon on court.

There is a small guest fee payable at the bar upon arrival of £6. There are cheaper / free options elsewhere, however the setting here is 10/10 and as a longstanding member I can confirm that the courts are excellent
