What we’re about
Motherless Daughters is a support group open to any woman who has lost her mother, no matter her age, how long ago she experienced the loss, or whether she lost the relationship through death or circumstance. The group exists to facilitate friendship and healing among women going through life without the nurturing and guidance of their mothers.
Group members gather throughout the year to listen and be heard, to give and receive support, and share experiences of loss and recovery. Support groups, social activities, workshops, and events are held in and around Sacramento, CA.
Meetup members need to be at least 18 years old. While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.
