Int’l Gator Day - Food and Blood Drive

International Gator Day is the annual community service day when Gators around the world unite to volunteer for their local communities and make a difference doing Gator Good.

For the 7th year in a row, we will again support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Please bring in your donations of non-perishable food items to Gator's Dockside, 4200 N Wickham Road,Melbourne. Items will be collected at the outside porch area. Gator swag will be given to donors.

This year is especially important, due to recent federal spending cuts which have eliminated $1.6 million, previously allocated to providing fresh food items to those in need.

Critical need items include: Meals in a Can, NonfatDry Milk, Oatmeal, Canned Meats & Poultry, Evaporated Milk, Canned Tuna, Nutritional Drinks, Baked Beans, Canned Vegies, Canned Soup, Pasta/Macaroni, Canned Fruit, Rice, Beef Stew, Baby Food.
This year the One Blood Bloodmobile will be on hand from 1-6 pm to accept blood donations. They will provide $20 gift certificates and an additional gift for all donors.
