Restoring Memories: The Art of Photo Restoration

Join us for this workshop where you’ll learn how to bring old and damaged photographs back to life! Whether you have treasured family prints, scratched negatives, or faded snapshots, this class will guide you through the full process of digitizing and restoring your images.

We’ll begin by demonstrating how to properly scan negatives and prints to achieve the best quality for restoration. Then, using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, you’ll learn essential photo repair techniques including how to remove scratches, blotches, and water stains, as well as how to mend torn or creased photos. We’ll also explore colorizing black-and-white images to add a vibrant, modern touch while maintaining authenticity.

Perfect for anyone who wants to preserve family history, improve restoration skills, or simply learn new digital editing techniques. Bring your favorite old photos or negatives and we may have time to work on them. (We will be using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop in this course)
